For students entering Kindergarten to Grade 5

Concentration on reading, phonics, language arts, and mathematics.

Parents can choose to enroll their child in his/her current grade level for a review. In particular, students who have completed Kindergarten, but have not begun reading sentences should be enrolled in Kindergarten.

New KCS students, whose parents prefer to enroll them in the grade they are entering in the fall will be contacted to come to the KCS Office before May 9 for a short reading test to determine summer grade placement. If a child finds it difficult to read and/or comprehend the test material, he/she will be placed in his/her current grade level for reinforcement.

Children leaving after Part I may eat lunch during this transition time in their classroom.

Clildren must be picked up in their classroom by 12 noon.

Pick up: Children not enrolled in Part II have a grace period for pick up from 11:30 am to 12 noon. After 12 noon, a charge of $5 per 5 minute interval, or portion thereof, will be assessed.
