The future looks bright for 2010 graduates Christina Rivers and Cindy Vuong. Christina and Cindy are both admitted to the Doctor of Medicine Early Acceptance Program, and if they enroll, they will receive a scholarship covering the cost of undergraduate tuition at UH Manoa and early acceptance into the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSoM), as well as other benefits.

Christina decided to apply for the program after taking a Medical Problem Solving class at UH, as she plans to study science in college. Similarly, Cindy attended a problem-based learning demonstration at JABSoM and was impressed by the structure of their curriculum. She eventually hopes to pursue a career in the medical field as a physician.

These exceptional young women attended KCS from kindergarten to 8th grade and continued to succeed at their respective high schools. They attribute their time at KCS with giving them the confidence to take risks and be open to new challenges. Christina says her teachers at KCS "set the bar high" and helped her develop a strong work ethic. Cindy feels blessed by the teachers who "nurtured and helped shape [her] into the person [she is] today." Christina and Cindy are shining examples of KCS graduates achieving their God-intended potential!
