Was it Colonel Mustard, in the Billiard Room, with the wrench? While our students weren’t exactly solving murder mysteries, a biblical spin on the popular board game provided the theme (“Clue”) for this year’s middle school camp, held on September 10-12. Pastor Valente shared a series of messages that tied elements of the game (gathering information and making deductions) to understanding how “clues” are dropped by the kind of life we live.  Through scripture and practical applications, he challenged students to live in such a way that their “clues” point people to the truth of Jesus.  In keeping with the theme, Mr. Kwong planned a scavenger hunt that tested the students’ biblical knowledge as they searched for clues across the campgrounds.

Students also enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities at Camp Erdman. For many campers, highlights included conquering the Odyssey high ropes course, climbing the Alpine Tower, or navigating the Climbing Wall. As students and staff interacted with one another, our hope is that the fellowship, team-building activities, and small group time created lifelong memories!
