Happy Thanksgiving!

November 25, 2015
By KCS Staff

This morning, the entire student body gathered in the Worship Center for Thanksgiving chapel. Everyone was adorned in various headpieces, a festive KCS tradition!

Choreographed by Miss Mele and Mr. Seria, students and staff joined together to share a hula and sign dance to “You Are Worthy of My Praise.”

The theme of worship and praise continued as Pastor Ron Arnold shared about the idea of a “Thanksgiving Parade.” He talked about how the Israelites would ascend to Jerusalem, singing psalms of praise.  Pastor Ron also told the story of the one leper that returned to thank Jesus for cleansing him. He challenged students to join in the legacy of those that have been a part of the “Thanksgiving Parade” by offering their thanks to God and to others.  He concluded his message with this verse from Hebrews: “Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that gives thanks to His name.”
