Christmas Time in Kaimuki

December 04, 2015
By KCS Staff

Oh, What Fun!: On Thursday evening, Kaimuki ushered in the Christmas season with the 69th annual KPBA Christmas Parade. Spectators gathered along Waialae Avenue to watch participants from Kaimuki schools, organizations, and businesses share Christmas cheer. KCS marchers were highlighted by the 4th and 5th graders, who shared Christmas carols on their recorders and ukuleles. Approximately 100 students, parents, and staff joined in this festive event!

Christmas Blessings: Kindergarten to 3rd grade students visited residents at Leahi Hospital this morning. As a “warm up” for their Christmas concerts next week, students shared songs celebrating the birth of Christ with their voices and instruments. Students also hand-delivered artwork they created in Art class to each resident. KCS is grateful for the opportunity to share Christmas joy and hope in the community!
