By KCS Staff

As a newly established award this year, the KND Fruit of the Spirit Award is given to students who best exemplify the fruit of the Holy Spirit consistently, especially among their teachers and fellow students. This award is intended to encourage students to honor Jesus Christ, regardless of the venue or situation, by demonstrating the fruit of the spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

This award is given to four current high school students: one freshman in the amount of $1,000, one sophomore in the amount of $1,000, one junior in the amount of $1,000, and finally, one senior in the amount of $2,000. We are honored to announce Kathryn Nakagawa '21, Kimberly Yip '20, Leilani Zbin '19, and Shereyna Shinbo '18 as this year's recipients!
