"Annyeonghaseyo!" The Korean greeting echoed in the hallways on Tuesday, August 14, as 19 students from Jinhae Institute visited various elementary and middle school classes.

The visit was coordinated by UH West Oahu as part of their international student recruitment process. The Korean students, who range in ages from 5th to 10th grade, visited several schools on the island, giving them a taste of the American school experience.

Jinhae students joined their KCS peers in classes that included social studies, Chinese, art, and music, and enjoyed a pizza lunch with middle school students. Both KCS and Jinhae students seemed to embrace this opportunity to establish new friendships and learn from each other!
