What a special day to celebrate the lives of Kyle Schumacher, Lenn Kawamura, and Joey Yoshikawa! Many students worked hard to share the boys' stories as they collected pledges from family and friends. Thanks to a generous outpouring of support from the KCS 'ohana, over $21,300 will be added to the scholarship fund! Since the scholarship fund was established, it has enabled hundreds of students to receive a KCS education.

While younger students walked/ran around campus, older students enjoyed the grassy field at Kapaolono Park. Ms. Yokomizo (K2 Teacher), who has participated in every Walkathon, observed how the event reflects the spirit of KCS: "We are a giving school, for others... that's what it's about."

The Walkathon would not be possible without a true team effort. We are humbled by everyone who gave joyfully from their hearts! Special thanks to an amazing group of parent and grandparent volunteers who pitched in to make today’s event a huge success.
