After School Enrichment

KCS partners with vendors to offer several quality and exciting extracurricular programs.  Along with our After School Care program and Fun Friday activities, these programs provide KCS students with convenient options for after school enrichment.  The following is a summary of classes currently offered on campus.

  • Amazing Athletes (Preschool) is the "premier year-round developmental physical fitness program empowering children aged 2.5 to 6 years old to reach developmental milestones at an individual pace." Classes are offered on a weekly basis, teaching children motor & life skills, sports, nutrition, and body awareness.  Register online.

  • Little Medical School (K-4th grade) is a fun, exciting, and educational program that gives elementary children the opportunity to role play and explore the world of medicine and science.  More information available here.

  • Mr. Wilcox, KCS Music Teacher, is offering Group Piano Lessons for elementary age (1st-3rd grade) beginners.  Classes are currently full; contact Mr. Wilcox if you are interested in placing your child on a waitlist.

  • Mrs. Marsha Van Wagenen, an accomplished musician, is offering private music lessons in keyboard, violin, viola, and classic guitar.  Lessons are available on Thursday or Friday afternoons.  If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Van Wagenen.

  • Play-Well STEM Challenge with LEGO (K-5th grade) a 12-week class that focuses on the application of physics, engineering, and architectural skills.  Students are challenged to build and design forklifts, houseboats, mini golf courses, and even the London Tower Bridge!  More information available here.
